I have a small group of about ten people I want to put together work out exercises using water bottles. I also would like ideas for team building exercises. I really want them to break a sweat with these bottles in a creative way. Anyone have a great idea/ideas?

Hey everyone, I’m preparing for an interview to be an RA in college, and I have to give a mock floor meeting (basically where I would get all the students together and tell them about things that are going on). One requirement is a team-builder or ice-breaker, and I simply have no ideas as to what to do here!! Can anyone give me some suggestions?

Stella asked: I am part of the committee who’s coming up with ideas for team building exercises for our All Staff Day. We want keep it themed w/ productivity so I was thinking any teambuilding ideas that encompasses having good communication, motivation, etc, would be appropriate. The reason why I stated indoor and outdoor activities was because I am not yet sure if we’re going to have an outdoor park area available, but if we did I would like to bring forth some great ideas to bonding and unifying the group!
And in the event that we remain indoors, I definitely want to have some good ice breakers/teambuilding ideas that keep people focus on the topic of discussion & not get bored! Please let me know asap! I would really appreciate it! =)
Also,If any of you know of any great websites that provide excellent ideas or even excellent speakers in the Northern NJ area, please feel free to give me those links! Thank you!

alan213006 asked: Do you agree that employers should stop these utterly ridiculous role play - or team building - exercises when considering you for a job? Far too many firms now are introducing these role play scenarios as a way of weeding out weaker candidates, and in my view I think this is just stupid and totally unnecesssary. Whoever first introduced these ridiculous team building exercises needs to wake up to the real world!
I even read of one case where a top firm demanded all job applicants dance to a boogie record before interviewing them for a job! I ask you!

Ali asked: So my boss has asked me to host his counterparts in Las Vegas for a 2day, 1 night - retreat. Meetings packed all day as well as some team building exercises. On the one night, they need an activity. Here are my ‘rules’ - there isn’t much of a budgetary guideline.
- 15 adults
- everything LV ‘themed’
- hotel must have ’suites’ (on or off strip)
- LV themed restaraunt for the night…bellagio, venetian, something nice and pretty private.
- some kind of entertainment after dinner.
They want something fun…but they don’t want people seperating from the group and doing their own thing so it needs to be pretty enclosed (for instance I was thinking a party boat kind of thing on Lake Las Vegas)
Anyhow, if anyone has any ideas on hotels, restaraunts, entertainment…anything like that, please let me know. I live in Vegas so I already know all the generic places…I’m just trying to be creative with this project. Any suggestions welcome, Thanks!
